We're looking for passionate, creative and driven Development Designers to join a fast growing vibrant hub of creativity for a world leading design led manufacturing business delivering award winning retail interiors and store display systems to some of the most well known names in retail globally.


As Development Designer,  ideally experienced in the retail merchandising / store equipment / POP sector you'll develop and lead design and development projects and initiatives delivering within key business and client account goals.


 


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:


• Attending client meetings on or off site to establish and understand the customer brief.


• Working to tight deadlines, you’ll have the experience and skills to convert the brief into an engaging and considered design solution.


• Managing allocated projects, for client and building contractors for design and development projects.


• Supporting development design colleagues and freelancers in producing engineering working drawings to ensure client’s expectations are maintained.


• Monitoring and managing prototypes/ trial production for sign off.


• Developing and maintaining relationships with existing and new clients (Uk + International)


• Working alongside and supporting key account/ Sales managers to ensure all design briefs and commercial targets are maintained.


• Presenting your design and development initiatives internally/externally to international client base and the wider  group businesses


• Attending training and exhibitions/ conferences to develop relevant knowledge and skills
