This exciting automotive solutions business in Milton Keynes is looking for a talented individual passionate about all things digital to head up and shape their digital future.

You’ll lead and facilitate the development of beautiful and functional digital products for global brands as well as the company’s IP digital product roadmap.

Working with cool technology, you'll join a fast-paced, light-hearted talented crew that work together to deliver digital projects for some of the world’s most prestigious automotive brands including GM, Ford, Mercedes-Benz and BMW.



Deliver the company’s digital product portfolio and constantly be on the lookout for the emerging technologies that can be used to improve the digital offering.  Represent the Business on everything digital. To pitch, plan and resource all digital product project work.  Lead, motivate and develop a team of web developers communicating objectives, goals and deadlines, including hiring and training, and keeping management updated on team performance. Schedule all digital product work and plan the resourcing of digital project work  Support business development activities in pitching digital skills and capabilities Lead the operational elements of the online business, including analysis, web content, optimization and the change management process required to deliver a programme of continuous improvement aligned to company objectives. Work collaboratively with senior stakeholders across operations to support our digital agenda. Keep ahead of the curve with competitors, considering initiatives to meet and surpass customer expectations and technology trends. Provide the digital infrastructure necessary to run the company’s programmes Ensure all operating software is kept up to date and to advise where changes needs to be made.  Participate in management meetings internally and with clients. Assist colleagues and undertake any additional duties reasonably requested.




A senior member of the team, you’ll need to be a player/manager – someone that can plan and resource. Someone that can impart and deliver a vision, but someone that can do the code as well. You’ll be hands on and involved in the detail, whilst simultaneously maintaining a holistic approach to the business.

You’ll need to be on top of industry developments and also maintain and develop your skills to be able to crunch the code, hitting every deadline having resourced projects appropriately.

You’ll need excellent problem solving skills and good grasp of:

  • Development methodologies

    • Understanding of SOLID principles and OO programming

    • Understanding of design patterns

    • Understanding of multi-tier application design

    • Unit testing

    • Experience of selenium testing advantageous

  • Back end web technologies

    • ASP.net / CORE with C# and MVC

    • ASP.net with legacy VB web forms.

    • Experience of using node modules and package management advantageous (grunt, gulp, bower, npm, nuget).

  • Front end web technologies

    • HTML 5 and responsive bootstrap framework.

    • CSS and Sass / Less

    • Javascript and frameworks like Angular JS, JQuery etc.

    • Experience with designing email HTML to be responsive and work in all email clients.

    • Understanding of UX.

  • Infrastructure

    • GIT version control.

    • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment would be advantageous.

    • Experience with using the cloud PaaS, IaaS advantageous.

  • Database

    • SQL Server 2008.

    • SQL Queries, stored procedures, normalisation, understanding performance in terms of indexes, joins, views etc.

    • Experience with using SSRS is advantageous but not essential.

  • CMS

    • Experience in using Umbraco is advantageous.

  • Other Software

    • Experience in Adobe products

    • MailChimp or any other EDM software

    • Wordpress or PHP with MySQL

    • Android studio
