Join this International leader in the design and manufacture of store equipment for global brands and retailers to drive the acquisition of new customers for UK and global markets


This will involve developing and delivering a business plan supporting new market extension and new client penetration and generating revenue opportunities from new customers in line with agreed targets and business strategy. You'll promote the appropriate products utilising global manufacturing capability in UK and global markets and establish best in class service levels with all customers


Perfect for people with at least 2-3 years field based sales / business development experience and a proven track record in B2B selling.


As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for creating new business opportunities and integrating new business wins into the existing customer base profitably. You’ll need to build and maintain relationships in order to maximise the adoption of globally award-winning products and concepts to grow existing revenues. Fully accountable for activity and results within your base, you’ll  be responsible for margins, sales, growth, cash management etc..


Probably educated to “A” level/Degree standard and IT literate, your enthusiastic attitude with a business management understanding will enhance your success when communicating at the most senior level. Strong commercial awareness, consultative sales skills and the tenacity to satisfy even some of the most demanding clients is essential.


Specific experience and success within the retail fixtures/point of sale sector both from a commercial and operational background as an advantage, however the ability to win new business and evidence of above-quota sales is a minimum requirement.
