Join this International leader in the design and manufacture of store equipment for global brands and retailers to drive the delivery of bespoke projects for new retail customers for UK and global markets


This will involve working with all departments, all key stakeholders including the client to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget for your clients, with the original creative and strategic intent remaining intact all the way through to execution.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:


•             Meet customers and establish credible relations


•             Manage the integration of new business wins into the existing customer base through the product and supply chain system


•             Create and manage schedules, budgets, resources and deliverables for allocated projects


•             Be resourceful in all aspects of the new business process


•             Establish best in class service levels with all customers


The role will also include co-operation and contribution toward improved ways of working and to continually deliver successful project works.


Key Duties and Responsibilities


•             Establish the customer brief


•             Create and implement the project plan


•             Produce customer and company presentations


•             Define the project scope, goals and deliverables


•             Ensure that the project objectives are aligned with company goals and that the project team is clear on those objectives


•             Define tasks and required resources


•             Allocate project resources


•             Create schedule and project timeline


•             Manage budget


•             Track deliverables


•             Support and direct team


•             Lead the process of issue identification and resolution


•             Manage the risk tracking process


•             Monitor and manage the scope


•             Lead quality assurance


•             Monitor and report on project progress


•             Manage all documentation


•             Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions


•             Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs


•             Develop long term relationships with the customer


•             Evaluate and assess result of project


 


YOUR PROFILE:

Ideally you'll have:


•             A levels (or equivalent)


•             Theoretical and practical project management knowledge and experience


•             A professional attitude to work


•             Exceptional communication skills


•             Excellent attention to detail


•             Critical thinking and problem solving


•             Outstanding decision-making and leadership capabilities


•             An innovative and flexible approach


•             The ability to work in a high pressured environment


•             A good exposure to commercial requirements – be equipped with some knowledge of estimating prices for both products and services in the shopfitting sector


•             A sense of humour and enjoy being around people of a similar demeanor


•             Been successful working in a small team where flexibility has been required on a regular basis


•             A high degree of patience


•             Be willing to travel and stay away from home when required


•             A willingness to take on new tasks and be “savvy” enough to figure out how to deliver on varied objectives
